Calico Decorating 2024

In December 2024, I was commissioned by Calico Decorating to produce a series of photographs for their business website. Collaborating with a professional interior stylist—also a close associate of the company—I worked closely under her creative direction to capture visually cohesive and aesthetically refined images. She styled each setting with precision, guiding the overall visual composition to align with the brand’s identity and design sensibility.

This project marked my first foray into interior and commercial photography, offering a valuable opportunity to expand my skill set beyond documentary and portrait work. While it presented new technical and creative challenges—such as lighting control, spatial arrangement, and maintaining consistency across shots—it was an exciting and rewarding experience. It deepened my appreciation for the meticulous nature of styled photography and broadened my perspective on visual storytelling in a commercial context.
